Concise Planning
Produces a clear, actionable checklist of small steps for a task.
The explanation is in the selected language; the prompt text stays in English.
Why use it
The task is big and you are unsure where to start. This turns it into six to ten concrete, ordered steps with a validation item.
How to use it
Write your request as usual: what you need and in which project. The assistant reads the README and code itself and asks one or two questions only if truly blocked. Then work through the steps in order.
Short example
Request: add Telegram notifications to the contact form of a learning site. Constraint: existing Python backend, no new libraries preferred.
What to expect
A short approach, in/out scope, six to ten verb-first action items, at least one testing item and up to three open questions.
Precautions and tips
- Read the assumptions it made, since a wrong one breaks the whole plan.
- If a step still looks large, ask for it to be split.
- A plan changes nothing by itself, so approve it before work begins.
# Concise Planning
## Goal
Turn a user request into a **single, actionable plan** with atomic steps.
## Workflow
### 1. Scan Context
- Read `README.md`, docs, and relevant code files.
- Identify constraints (language, frameworks, tests).
### 2. Minimal Interaction
- Ask **at most 1–2 questions** and only if truly blocking.
- Make reasonable assumptions for non-blocking unknowns.
### 3. Generate Plan
Use the following structure:
- **Approach**: 1-3 sentences on what and why.
- **Scope**: Bullet points for "In" and "Out".
- **Action Items**: A list of 6-10 atomic, ordered tasks (Verb-first).
- **Validation**: At least one item for testing.
## Plan Template
```markdown
# Plan
## Scope
## Action Items
[ ] <Step 1: Discovery>
[ ] <Step 2: Implementation>
[ ] <Step 3: Implementation>
[ ] <Step 4: Validation/Testing>
[ ] <Step 5: Rollout/Commit>
## Open Questions
- <Question 1 (max 3)>
```
## Checklist Guidelines
- **Atomic**: Each step should be a single logical unit of work.
- **Verb-first**: "Add...", "Refactor...", "Verify...".
- **Concrete**: Name specific files or modules when possible.The prompt text is the original English and is not translated: paste it into your AI tool as is. Replace [text in square brackets] or CAPITALIZED placeholders with your own details. Always check the answer.
