Two-Sided Brief
The strongest arguments and weak points of both positions on a debated topic, with a balanced conclusion.
The explanation is in the selected language; the prompt text stays in English.
Why use it
Use it when a debated topic tempts you to lean one way: journalists, teachers or anyone preparing a discussion who wants both positions treated fairly.
How to use it
Put the claim or topic in [TOPIC] as one precise sentence, the readers in [READERS], local context in [COUNTRY] and the goal in [ARTICLE / DECISION / DISCUSSION]. The narrower the topic, the sharper the answer.
Short example
TOPIC: banning phones in schools completely. READERS: parents. COUNTRY: Uzbekistan. Purpose: discussion at a parents' meeting.
What to expect
A two-column table (Side A, Side B) with the best argument, supporting evidence and weakest point for each, then a short conclusion naming what stays uncertain.
Precautions and tips
- Check numbers and sources yourself, the model may invent a citation.
- The brief supports thinking, it does not replace a decision.
- A topic that is too broad gives a shallow comparison, narrow it first.
